We make ordering as painless as possible — whether you are buying products or sending parts in for gunsmithing services.

Buy tooling and parts just like any online store — place your order and we ship it to your door.

Ordering Gunsmithing Services

Most orders are for one or more gunsmithing services. The process is just as simple, but a little different — see the steps below.

Five Simple Steps

Order online. Add the services you need to your cart and check out on this website.
Box your parts carefully. Pack them well — do NOT wrap parts in tape (bubble wrap is preferred).
Include your store confirmation. Place a printed copy inside the box.
Ship to LRI at the address shown below.
Watch for confirmation. We email you once your parts arrive and are checked in — allow up to 7 business days.

⚠ Please Do Not Wrap Parts in Tape

Tape is highly adhesive and our machines do not like it. Parts wrapped in tape will be charged an additional shop fee — bubble wrap is highly recommended and appreciated.

Protecting Your Property

Courier Insurance

Purchased from whoever is used to ship your parts to or from LRI.

LRI In-House Insurance

An optional, elective policy covering the full replacement cost of a job lost, stolen, or damaged in transit back to you. Not applied automatically; hard-case shipments only.

Elective LRI insurance covers jobs shipped back to you in a hard case (metal or plastic) — firearms shipped in cardboard are ineligible. In the event of a lost or stolen parcel:

Notify LRI that the parcel has not arrived after a reasonable time. Do not contact the courier yourself — LRI must initiate the trace as shipper and insurer.
LRI initiates a trace through the courier no earlier than 15 calendar days after shipment, and no later than 60 days.
Tracing a firearm will involve the package being opened so the make, model, and serial number can be verified.
If declared lost or stolen, LRI reports it to local police and a national stolen-firearms database. If the item is later delivered to you, contact LRI immediately so it can be removed.
LRI requires 30 days to review the case and issue the claim reimbursement. Once the check is deposited, the missing items become LRI property.
If your property is delivered after reimbursement, contact us immediately — you may buy it back by returning the check, or return the items to LRI.

Good to Know

A 4% credit-card fee applies to all in-house credit-card transactions. This does not apply to online store orders.
Additional postage may be required for return shipping; LRI invoices for any additional services or fees upon completion.
Existing finishes (OEM, bluing, Cerakote, Duracoat, glass bead) on parts being machined or fixtured may require refinishing.
